About
About PeptideIQ Base
An evidence-first knowledge base for people who want to know what the research actually says about peptides.
PeptideIQ Base is an evidence-first peptide knowledge base for people who hear about peptides from podcasts, Reddit, and influencers and want to know what the research actually says.
We are not a store, pharmacy, or dosing tool. We don't sell peptides, recommend doses, or provide medical advice. We are an education-first reference — every claim is sourced, every grade is earned, and every ad is labeled.
Editorial standards
- Cite everything. Every factual claim links to a primary source. No source, no page.
- Never recommend. We report what published studies used — we never tell you what to take, buy, or try.
- Grade conservatively. When evidence is thin, we grade down. “Mostly animal data” is a fine, honest answer.
- Separate editorial from paid. Affiliate links and sponsored content are always clearly labeled. Editorial content is never for sale.
Evidence grading
Every claim on PeptideIQ Base receives an evidence grade from S+ to C. Grades are claim-specific — one peptide can be S+ for one claim and C for another. The rubric:
Strong clinical evidence
Multiple human RCTs or strong clinical consensus
Limited human evidence
Human studies exist but limited, mixed, or narrow
Mostly preclinical
Mostly animal/preclinical with plausible mechanism
Mostly anecdotal
Mostly anecdotal/community claims
Unsupported
Unsupported, contradicted, or overstated
